Minutes of Meeting, Tuesday February 1st, 2005, 6-7:30 p.m. at Lake Mills City Hall

Chairperson Pete Ebbott called the meeting to order at 6:00p.m.
Present: Pete Ebbott, Melissa Fehrman, Mike Orcutt, and Stan Smoniewski, plus Jim Heinz and Arlie Wilke of the Lake Mills Town Board; and Patricia L. Cicero, Jefferson County Land and Water Resource Conservationist.
The agenda was accepted, Stan motioned and Mike seconded. The minutes for January were approved, Melissa motioned and Mike seconded. Notice of the meeting was published in the Lake Mills Leader.

Old Business

Long Range Plan for Rock Lake: Patricia reported a healthy turn-out for the Advisory Committee meeting (1/13) on Recreation, and that recreation will continue to be the topic for another month (2/17). The Advisory Committee added 2 questions to the public survey: one dealing with Slow-No-Wake and one on Towing and PWC hours of operation. Patricia also reported that the mailing list for the public survey is being finalized.

Wisconsin Association of Lakes Meeting: Pete, Stan, and Patricia, who have attended in the past, strongly encouraged the others to attend this year. The gathering will be April 28-30 in Green Bay.

Patricia announced that the County will have a public hearing regarding Shoreline Zoning on 2/24 at 7p in Jefferson.
