Committee Reports

Joint Rock lake Committee:

Pete reported no new news. Annual report was reported to town.

 
Long Range Plan for Rock Lake:

Patricia reported the last meeting was on invasive and exotic species. The next meeting  at the Library on Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. will be on non-point agricultural pollution.

There will be a five page hand-out dated Nov. 4, 2004.

 
The board spent one hour reviewing, and making revision suggestions to Patricia for the Rock Lake Improvement survey. The board will be sent e mail copies before being finalized. It was suggested that the survey be sent to local bait shops and to research mailing lists from the tax rolls. Patricia also reviewed a letter from Susan Josheff in regard to giving guidance to the city about all that is involved in regulating lake levels.

 
Publicity

 Milt reminded us that we were not an action group but an advocate group.

He submitted an excellent RLIA publicity/public relations proposal which was developed from a brain storming session that included a laundry list of things that we could do. It was suggested that we put these proposals on the agenda for the Jan.

2005 meeting.

 
Next meeting will be held at Karl's including spouses at W8211 Sunset Court.
